. : : Nude Up, Or Not : : .GETTING naked on the Internet is a fairly powerful statement to make, and it takes a lot of guts. Whatever your motive, like all important decisions, you need to look at the facts and make an informed choice. Read on for all the info about how Feck operates, how we will use your images, and how you'll be paid for them.

If you've ever been curious about nude modelling but apprehensive about how the experience will unfold, talk to people who have already done it; many of our staff are already on our websites and love to talk about what it has done for them. We believe there is no other organisation in this field that will better respect your interests than Feck, and this is supported by the many Don't Ask Us we receive from contributors. Our cooling off period gives you the security of knowing that if your shoot didn't turn out how you'd like, it won't be published.

. : : Nude Up, Or Not : : .It's not really a money thing...

On a per hour basis, nude work pays very well, as it should. You're contributing something very personal and valuable. But money alone is not a good reason for doing this; consider all the pros and cons in the context of your life values. It's essential that you know exactly where you stand so you can make erotica that you feel proud of and empowered by.

Contributor 'hyperballad' said: "I wanted to put myself 'out there' and feel really good about it. I can quite honestly say doing the Feck projects has been a huge part of my journey towards accepting and eventually being able to love the skin I am in. I am open with pretty much everyone I know about my naked self on three sites. Reactions vary but it's not really about other people, it's about me and a part of who I am, that I am proud of... It's not something I hide, quite the opposite in fact." We constantly get feedback from contributors telling us that working on our projects has been the most fun they've had in their life; a very liberating and empowering experience; or a step forward in their personal development.

. : : Nude Up, Or Not : : .Is this porn?

The debate about art vs. porn is probably is old as art itself, but mostly misses the point. People can talk about the intent, about what you do with it, or about the lighting; but these justifications overlook that porn is culture independent of art, even though it may also be appreciated as art. There is just as much bad art around as there is bad porn. Unfortunately, there is not as much good porn - erotica - as there is good art.

As far as we're concerned, we don't think porn itself is the problem, it's the really low standards. The producers who make it and the people who consume it are both culpable. Too few people are prepared to invest reatively into lifting the standard and make good erotica which stimulates the mind before anything else. That, in fact, is our goal..

Erotica celebrates human sexuality where bad porn debases it. If it's made ethically and thoughtfully it can be as culturally valuable as any art, but if we submit to the cringe that goes along with the porn tag, then talented and passionate people will shy away from making good erotica, and all we'll be left with is crappy porn that perpetuates the stigma.

. : : Nude Up, Or Not : : .What will you do with my images?

Feck doesn't sell or license images/videos to other sites or third parties, magazines etc. Your folio will only be used on, or for the promotion of, the site for which it was created, and this may include a small part of your folio being used by licensed affiliates for advertising purposes. Affiliates abide by strict rules as to where and how they can use images, and never in a hardcore pornographic context or outside the adult realm. Our site members are bound by the Terms of Use which prohibit sharing or public posting of our material, and any infringers have all access rights cancelled. Such occurrences are rare.

  . : : Nude Up, Or Not : : .Will I get recognised?

One of the decisions you'll make is whether to tell your friends and family about your participation in Feck sites. That's up to you, but we hope you'll make erotica you're proud of, and be open about your participation.

Your site profile doesn't need to contain information which identifies you, and our sites have a relatively small audience so if you don't make it known you've contributed, then it's unlikely that anyone you know will find out. But it's not impossible, and you should be prepared to stand behind your reasons for 'nuding up'. If you prefer to keep this to yourself then be careful about who you tell and consider what motives they might have to make it public knowledge.

How does this affect my career?

We have many professionals from a wide range of careers on our sites, including doctors, managers, musicians and educators. If you work in child care, for example as a primary school teacher, or if you intend to run for public office, then appearing naked on the net may be construed by some as an indication of 'immorality' and will possibly impact adversely on your career. The values of a minority community which make presumptions about a person's character, based on what they do with their body, are the real problem here; however until that changes you should give serious consideration to how your employer might view your participation in our Projects. Of course an employer who discriminates against you because of what you do in your own time would almost certainly be breaking the law.

Consider that it possibly could be your career. There are way more opportunities in the adult industry than the pornstar stereotype, especially for women. Most Feck staff started as site contributors.

Sharing and Public Posting

Members of our web sites (or anybody else for that matter) are not permitted to share the material or post it anywhere public. You can read the full policy on this in the 'Terms of Use' page which you can reach by clicking the 'Join' link on any of our sites. However the internet being what it is, some of our material does occasionally get illegally posted on adult forums or file share sites. We have a zero-tolerance policy on piracy and we issue legal notices to such infringers, and are usually successful in having them quickly removed. We also cancel, without refund, the account of any member who is found to have posted such material.

Special Promotion

We often get asked to contribute samples of our content for magazines, blogs, TV etc, to illustrate an article or interview. We also undertake our own marketing, which includes cards, brochures, banner ads, and t-shirts. Although the Release Form allows us to use any image(s) for this, in such cases where images are to be distributed to the wider community and off the internet, it is our policy to contact the contributor (you) for permission. If the use is commercial, we may offer you an extra fee.

Participate with Confidence

We want you as a contributor to only make images/video you are proud to have produced. It is unlikely that anyone in the wider community will see and recognise you, unless they know where to find your folio. We find that almost all cases of recognition have occurred when the contributor has told someone of their involvement and that person has gone to seek it out. However, unlikely as it is, we can't guarantee that someone seeking out erotic content on the internet, won't accidentally discover you. You are an adult and your decision to contribute should include an appraisal of the risks and consequences. People working in the care of minors (e.g. primary teachers), may find their employment at risk for contributing to sites like ours, such are community values.

Life Span of your Folio

We don't set a time limit on the use of your folio but our sites are designed chronologically, with the most recent releases on the front page. Approximately half the views your folio ever gets will occur in the first few days of publication. As it moves off the front page, the number of views will then decline so that within a few weeks your folio will not get many views. Some folios are exceptional and continue to get regular views as they are discussed on the forums, but the large quantity of material in our site archives means that older folios are not often viewed. They can be difficult to find without knowing the name of the folio or nickname of the contributor. If you submit a new folio, that will stimulate interest in your previous folios.

Cooling Off

If, within 3 working days of submitting your first folio to a Feck site, you decide that you would not like it to be published, it can be withdrawn and the Release cancelled. You will only need to repay the fee we paid you. If it is not your first submission, or we used production staff and resources to produce the shoot, or if you make the request after the cooling off period, we may require that you reimburse our expenses as well.
